OMG I love your shoes!
Until now, replying to someone’s post was the only way to tell them you dig their outfit. That’s great, but not everyone wanted to go through the trouble to type out their praise, meaning it was hard for users to really know if anyone liked their stuff.
With the introduction of the Love feature, we’re giving users a way to express their love for those awesome new shoes with just one click. You can use your own loved timeline as a wish list, or check out what your friends are in love with from their profile.
Once we’ve had time to collect some data and people have gotten into the habit of clicking the heart button, we’ll do some cool stuff, like showing off the most loved post of the day, or highlighting users that are particularly popular. We’ll probably even build contests around it.
And not to worry, iPhone users, we have an app update in beta right now which brings Love support.
